Reward Notice

For general posting - Please Circulate, Announce and Reprint:

Vancouver, BC, April 12, 2003:

An anonymous benefactor and supporter of The Truth Commission into Genocide in Canada is posting a reward of $100,000 (Canadian), which will be offered to any person or persons with knowledge of the death and/or disappearance of Maisie Shaw, Albert Gray, and other aboriginal children who attended United Church Indian Residential Schools in Port Alberni and Ahousat, B.C., or at any other United Church facility in Canada.

This reward will be made officially public in the coming month, in the form of an international media advisory and legal notice.

The refusal of the RCMP and other police bodies to investigate the death and disappearance of these children has prompted this private initiative.

Anyone who has knowledge of the death and/or disappearance of children under United Church custody is urged to contact the Truth Commission or Rev. Kevin Annett at this e-mail:

kevinannett@yahoo.ca

Or through this pager:
1-888-265-1007

Sincerely,

The Executive,
The Truth Commission into Genocide in Canada

Vancouver, BC
